Massage is more than relaxation—it connects us to our bodies, releases tension, improves circulation, and awakens energy pathways.
Our Sunday morning gatherings are designed for men and focus on man-to-man massage, bringing together techniques from both Eastern and Western perspectives. The workshop runs from 10 am to 12 pm, providing a unique opportunity for men to learn and practice massage in a comfortable, supportive environment. Participants relax and leave feeling revitalized and energized.

SOME OF WHAT GETS COVER...AND BY THE END OF THIS GATHERING WE ARE COVERING A LOT TOGETHER!
Understanding Swedish Massage Strokes and Their Benefits
Swedish massage is widely known for its smooth, flowing strokes that promote relaxation and muscle health. The techniques range from simple compression to more involved movements that use your body weight and positioning to support your partner effectively.
Basic Compression and Effleurage
Compression involves pressing into the muscles with steady pressure, increasing blood flow, and easing muscle tightness.
Effleurage uses long, gliding strokes that warm up the muscles and prepare them for deeper work.
These strokes form the foundation of Swedish massage and are accessible to anyone.
Using Your Body to Support Your Partner
As you progress, you learn to use your body weight rather than just your hands. For example:
Leaning gently into your partner’s muscles to apply deeper pressure without straining your hands.
Getting on top of the massage table to reach areas that are harder to access from the side.
Navigating specific muscle groups important for men, such as the lower back, shoulders, and legs, to help support men's health and well-being.
This approach not only enhances the massage's effectiveness but also helps you maintain your own comfort and balance. By learning to use your entire body when giving, one begins to feel that both positions are relaxing, stimulating, and worth a deeper dive.
Exploring Eastern Bodywork: Energy Meridians and Acupressure Points
Eastern massage traditions focus on the flow of energy, or qi, through pathways called meridians. Stimulating certain points along these meridians can influence physical and emotional health.
Key Acupressure Points to Know
Stomach 36 (Leg Three Mile Point)
Located just below the knee, this point is famous for boosting energy and stamina in men and strengthening the immune system. Applying gentle pressure here can invigorate the whole body.
Ren 1 (Perineum Point)
Found between the genitals and the anus, this point connects to the body's root energy. Stimulating Ren 1 can ground energy and improve vitality.
Stimulating Energy Through the Feet and Inner Legs
Did you know you can influence your partner’s energy and even their sexual health by working around the heel of the foot? The heel area corresponds to important energy points connected to the reproductive organs.
Sitting gently on your partner’s heel while applying pressure with your inner legs can activate Ren 1 in the giver, as well as all the heel points on the receiver. This technique encourages a subtle exchange of energy and deepens your connection.
These practices highlight how Eastern bodywork goes beyond muscles to engage the body's energetic system. Combining Techniques for a Holistic Massage Experience
Bringing together the physical focus of Western massage and the energetic approach of Eastern bodywork creates a balanced practice.
At our Sunday gatherings, we learn how to combine these methods effectively:
Start with Swedish strokes to warm up muscles and increase circulation.
Incorporate acupressure points to stimulate energy flow and address specific health concerns.
Use body positioning to apply deeper pressure without strain.
Focus on areas especially beneficial to men—like the lower back, inner thighs, and feet—to support male vitality, relaxation, and mutual trust in a man-to-man context.
This fusion encourages a deeper awareness of the body’s layers—from muscles to energy channels—offering a more complete healing experience.
Massage is a powerful way to connect with the body and energy. By exploring both Eastern and Western techniques, you can offer yourself and others a richer, more effective experience. Whether you choose Swedish strokes, acupressure points such as Stomach 36 and Ren 1, or refined body positioning, each technique offers unique benefits.
