Last night, I dreamt about Jake, one of our upcoming hosts for the Morning Wood retreat. In the dream, he was among a circle of about eight men surrounding me. I woke up before the dream could reach its conclusion, but it left a strong impression on me and set the tone for the day. My morning wood was raging.

The studio needs new tables and a lounge area for relaxing. Any donation is deeply appreciated. One way to support is by joining my OnlyFans, where I share erotic self-portraits, bodywork clips, and tips on staying body-positive and enjoying conscious touch, both solo and with a partner. another is one-on-one massage or tutorial sessions, buying some art, or just continuing to join us for workshops and massage trades. Many of you do, and I thank you SO MUCH! The space could not exist without you.

Yesterday, I spent time with a beautiful man who is a healer himself and works as a nurse practitioner. As we worked together with hot oils and massage to ease his nervous system and relax his muscles, we talked about how truly amazing touch is. Touch is our original form of communication, and returning to it can be deeply healing. Massage and bodywork wake up the body and get the energy flowing in incredible ways.

In Eastern philosophy, some schools of thought hold that we have multiple souls—one that shines through our eyes and out into the world. Whenever a man walks through my door, the soul that arrives always feels different from the one that gets up off the table. The transformation is powerful.

There are also writings about a soul that stays just outside the body, in an energetic field. Life’s stress and anxiety can pull this soul away, like a kite on a long string, sometimes so far it never comes back down. When the energy body is separated from the physical body, stress can root deep in our connective tissues, making us stiff and brittle rather than moist and supple. I’ve seen and felt this firsthand over the years. If you ever feel detached from yourself, it might be a sign to get on a table and bring your soul back into balance.
